Job summary

Tulsa County's Family Center for Juvenile Justice seeks an ISP Officer to provide intensive supervision for youths in the Intensive Supervision Program, coordinating with families, schools, probation, and community resources.

You will appear at court hearings, draft petitions, and advise on eligibility, maintaining daily logs and ensuring safety and compliance within the program. A Bachelor's degree in sociology or psychology and 2+ years of juvenile experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in sociology, psychology, or a related field with 2+ years working with juveniles.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret regulations; able to write reports and communicate in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily intense supervision of youths in the Intensive Supervision Program.
  • Collaborate with family, school, Probation Counselor, and community resources to support youths outside the Detention facility.
  • Develop knowledge of community resources and programs (recreational programs, neighborhoods, school/work opportunities).
  • Appear for court hearings and recommend eligibility for the Intensive Supervision Program.
  • Prepare daily logs detailing youth activities and behavior.
  • Supervise youths on Court Deferred Adjudication and handle related filings and motions.
