Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 21+ years of age minimum.
• No disqualifying criminal history per TAC.
• Certification exams must be passed as required.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of detained/referred youth.
• Maintain individual case files and update records.
• Enter and retrieve information using data systems.
• Coordinate transport to detention facilities, hospitals, and schools.
• Escort youths to court and ensure safe transport.
• Communicate with counselors and human services professionals.
• Explain rules and supervise daily activities and discipline.
• 24/7 readiness to assist juveniles and families.
