Job summary

SpectraCare Health Systems Group in Dothan, AL seeks a Juvenile Court Liaison / Outpatient Therapist to support the Juvenile Court Systems and Outpatient Services. The role is based in our Children's Services in Dothan, Monday–Friday 8am–5pm.

The incumbent will develop relationships with juvenile judges, probation officers, and program directors, perform evaluations and provide short-term therapy, family support, and crisis intervention, with thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Masters degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling, psychiatric nursing, or related behavioral health field.
• Completion of a relevant clinical practicum or six months post-master clinical experience supervised by a master’s level or higher clinician with two years postgraduate clinical experience.
• One year experience working with children/adolescents.
• Willingness to obtain AADAA certification within 30 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with juvenile judges and probation officers and program directors to offer appropriate services.
• Perform evaluations and intakes, group and individual therapy on a short term basis.
• Provide family support and crisis intervention services to consumers within the program.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
