Qualifications

• Has lived experience in mental health or child welfare services.
• Able to communicate empathetically and empower youth.
• Able to document interactions accurately and timely.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention principles and safety.
• Willingness to work with diverse populations and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support to youths 16–21 by sharing lived experience.
• Offer guidance as they receive services and support from SpectraCare.
• Build trusting relationships and promote recovery and self-advocacy.
• Coordinate outreach and youth engagement in the community.
• Lead peer support groups and individual sessions as directed.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation per policy.
