Job summary

SpectraCare is seeking a Therapist II- School Based to serve students through the Dothan City School System. This position is based at our Children's Services Clinic in Dothan, with Monday through Friday, 8am–4:30pm hours.

The role focuses on completing intakes, providing family education, and maintaining consumer records in an electronic clinical record system, while coordinating with SpectraCare, Alabama DMH and Medicaid standards to support student well-being.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related human services field.
• Clinical practicum completed or six months post-master’s supervised experience.
• Willing to obtain substance abuse counselor certification within 30 months of hire.
• Good motor vehicle record (MVR) required.
• Pre-employment background and drug screen required.
• CPR certification upon hire.
• LPC, LICSW or LMFT licensure preferred but not required.
• Must meet insurability requirements to drive a system vehicle (21+).

Responsibilities
