Job summary

The Nevada Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS) is recruiting for Group Supervisor 4 at the Nevada Youth Training Center (NYTC) in Elko, NV. This full-time position supervises a youth unit, guides staff, and ensures safety and regulatory compliance.

You will participate on treatment teams, coordinate intake and searches, document progress, and develop staff through training. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and relevant experience; visa sponsorship is not

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of youth-facing experience, or equivalent.
• Experience working with youth in custodial, employment, therapeutic, educational or correctional settings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of youths within assigned unit and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
• Coordinate intake, personality trait documentation, and immediate needs for youths.
• Conduct security checks, head counts, searches for contraband, and safe supervision of residents.
• Maintain case records, incident reports, and training progress for youth development.
• Participate in treatment teams to implement individualized plans and provide staff guidance.
