Job summary

Syneren Technologies Corporation is seeking a Junior Windows Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain Windows-based server and cloud infrastructure for clients from its Alexandria, VA office. The role focuses on Windows Server administration, Azure services, and virtualization with Hyper-V/VMware.

Ideal candidates will have a 4-year degree, relevant certifications, and 2+ years of hands-on Windows Server experience, including Active Directory and Group Policy.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of Windows Server administration including AD and GP.
• Experience with Azure infrastructure and services.
• Experience with Hyper-V and VMware virtualization.
• Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, SMTP.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills for Windows/server infra.
• PowerShell experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Team player with positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Windows-based server and cloud infrastructure solutions for clients.
• Ensure security, availability, and performance of client infrastructure.
• Assist in troubleshooting complex server and cloud issues.
• Participate in project planning and execution activities.
• Analyze environment performance and conduct problem resolution.
• Collaborate with engineers to design and implement solutions.
• Document processes, procedures, and infrastructure configurations.
• Support daily administration and maintenance of client server and cloud infra.
