Job summary

Goodwin Brothers Shades LLC is seeking a Junior Technician to support the installation of commercial window treatments on new construction sites and existing spaces. You will work with hand tools, read basic blueprints, and learn installation techniques from multiple manufacturers.

The role involves local travel, full-time hours, and potential overtime. Training is provided, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as junior carpenter or window installer preferred; training provided.
• Proficiency with hand tools and eagerness to learn multiple installation techniques.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred; training available.

Responsibilities

• Follow the daily work plan to complete tasks.
• Assist with on-site communication and coordination.
• Install vertical and horizontal blinds and motorized shades.
• Safely operate hand tools and measure accurately.
• Read basic architectural blueprints.
• Maintain punch lists and report daily progress.
• Lift materials up to 50 lbs and use ladders as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols.
