Job summary

Nordex is seeking a Resident SQA Engineer to monitor bearing supplier manufacturing and testing, ensuring designs meet specifications and performance.

You will provide on-site technical expertise, collaborate with the supplier team on APQP activities (DFMEA, PFMEA, CPk, GR&R), troubleshoot production issues, advise during prototypes and ramp-up, and support homologation of new bearing types.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Native Mandarin and professional level English.
• 3+ years of engineering and/or quality experience in the wind industry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product manufacturing and testing processes at bearing suppliers to ensure compliance with design specs and performance requirements.
• Provide on-site technical expertise to solve manufacturing or quality issues, ensuring Nordex requirements are fulfilled.
• Collaborate with local SQA Resident Engineer on supplier APQP4 wind activities including DFMEA, PFMEA, CPk and GR&R.
• Troubleshoot technical issues at bearing supplier facilities.
• Act as technical advisor during prototype manufacturing and ramp-up, ensuring lessons learned and requirements are incorporated into design and production.
• Support homologation activities for new bearing types or suppliers.

Job description

1. Monitor product manufacturing and testing processes at the bearing suppliers together with resident SQAs to guarantee compliance with design specifications and performance requirements.

2. Provide on-site technical expertise to solve manufacturing or quality issues, ensuring that Nordex requirements are fulfilled.

3. Cooperate with local SQA Resident Engineer about supplier APQP4 wind, including DFMEA, PFMEA, CPK and GR&R.

4. Troubleshooting of technical issues at the facilities of the bearing suppliers.

5. Act as a technical advisor during some phases of the product launch, such as prototype manufacturing and ramp-up of production. Ensure that lessons learned and the necessary requirements are considered in the design and manufacturing.

在样机试制、量产爬坡等新品落地阶段担任技术顾问，确保项目经验总结及各项技术要求落实到设计与生产环节。

6. Support to certain activities regarding the homologation of new bearing types or new bearing suppliers.

协助开展新型轴承产品、新增轴承供应商的认证合规相关工作。

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering

机械工程专业本科及以上学历

2. Native Mandarin and Professional English level

普通话流利，具备专业英语读写沟通能力

3. 3+ years of Engineering and or Quality in the wind industry

三年及以上风电行业技术或质量相关工作经验
