Job summary

White & Case LLP, a premier global law firm, seeks an entry-level professional to support the White Collar Practice. You will conduct legal research, draft basic pleadings, organize case files, and assist with discovery under supervision.

Role emphasizes learning litigation skills, assisting with hearings and client communications, and performing day-to-day support across matters. Reporting to Partner Equal Opportunities and collaborating with experienced attorneys.

Qualifications

• Conducts research on legal issues, applicable law, and statutes to support case preparation and strategy.
• Drafts basic legal documents, including pleadings, motions and discovery requests under the guidance of more senior lawyers.
• Organizes and maintains case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and readily accessible.
• Assists with the discovery process by reviewing documents, managing evidence and preparing discovery materials.
• Attends hearings and depositions to observe and assist senior lawyers, taking detailed notes during proceedings.
• Handles basic day-to-day communication with clients to gather information and respond to inquiries.
• Handles administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and filing documents.
