Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass background check, drug test, and physical.
• Ability to operate an overhead crane (training provided).
• Ability to read or learn to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, lay out materials, and assist with welding assignments under guidance.
• Clean refuse, spatter, slag, and tack marks.
• Label work and components using a stencil.
• Assist welding using various welder types and materials.
• Support brazing and arc-welding processes.
• Operate an overhead crane under supervision; assist with rigging and setup.
