Job summary

Apex Engineering Group is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join the Dickinson, ND office and contribute as a key member on water or wastewater projects from planning through design and construction.

Responsibilities include developing plans and specs, supporting project managers, and potentially serving as resident project representative in the field. A BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required; EI certification is preferred and up to 5 years of experience may be considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
• EI certification required or ability to obtain within one year.
• 0–5 years of experience in civil/environmental engineering in water/wastewater fields.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented and able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional civil engineering services including planning, design, specifications, plans, reports, construction observation and project management.
• Communicate updates and progress to supervisors and PMs throughout all project phases.
• Attend company, project and client meetings regularly.
• Assist with proposals and business development with experience and mentoring.
