Van Cleef Engineering Associates, LLC in Bethlehem, PA is seeking an Entry Level Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our hydrology team. You will assist with planning, modeling, and design tasks to support drinking water and wastewater projects.

Ideal candidates have 0–3 years of design experience and familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D; strong communication skills; and a drive to grow in asset planning and hydraulic modeling.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years design engineering experience, preferably water resources planning/engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D software is preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Desire to develop asset planning, water and wastewater system planning and hydraulic modeling.
• Knowledge of water resources industry, business and environmental regulatory field.
• GIS and hydraulic modeling experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Strategic long-term water and wastewater system planning, including project recommendations.
• Conducting or reviewing system capacity and service evaluations using hydraulic models.
• Assist senior staff in planning studies with hydraulic modeling.
• Assessing capacity, asset condition, performance and proposing improvements.
• Support in system evaluations and regional growth opportunities.
• Assist with field project work and operational excellence initiatives.
