Job summary

KBR Careers is seeking a Junior Watch Operator to monitor operational systems and ensure performance and availability. The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree and have at least 1 year of relevant experience, or other equivalent education and experience. A Top Secret clearance is required for this full-time, on-site position.

You will handle incident detection and escalation, maintain operational documentation, and provide updates during operational events as part of a continuous 24/7 shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and 1 year of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience, or 4 years of experience without a degree.
• Familiarity with standard incident response and escalation procedures.
• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with adjudicated polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operational systems, dashboards, and alerts to ensure performance.
• Detect and escalate anomalies or outages according to procedures.
• Maintain documentation of events and actions taken.
• Support incident triage and coordinate with technical teams.
• Provide situational awareness updates during operational events.
