Job summary

American Emergency Vehicles (AEV) seeks a skilled installer to fit interior and exterior electrical components on ambulances. You will read and follow English instructions, use measuring tools, and work with minimal supervision to meet production goals.

This role emphasizes QA, safety, 5S, and teamwork. You will train other installers and maintain cooperative relationships while adhering to the company handbook and hazardous waste procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions in English.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layout in English.
• Ability to read and use measuring devices.
• Ability to perform operations within quality and time standards.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Fundamental use of pneumatic and power tools.
• Familiar with safe operation of drills, screw guns, chop saws.
• Ability to use basic mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical interior/exterior components and hardware.
• Understand and carry out directions in English.
