American Emergency Vehicles (AEV) is a custom ambulance manufacturer for Type 1-3 and medium-duty ambulances. The role focuses on installing electrical interior and exterior components and following engineering drawings in English.

As part of Terex Corporation, we uphold safety, quality, and teamwork while meeting production goals. This on-site position requires reading instructions, using measuring tools, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure high QA standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layout and other written or verbal instructions presented in English.
• Ability to read and use linear and other measuring devices.
• Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Installation of all electrical interior/exterior components and hardware.
• Understand and carry out verbal and written directions in English.
• Function with a minimal amount of supervision or no supervision.
• Set work priorities to meet production goals as scheduled.
• Assist in training installers at all skill levels.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
• Meet minimum safety and 5S standards.
• Meet all QA and QC standards for each task.
• Be compliant with all rules of conduct and attendance per the company handbook.
