Job summary

Trinity Christian Academy in Addison, Texas seeks a dedicated Varsity Wrestling Assistant Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time, seasonal position starts October 2026 and runs through February 2027, supporting a program that emphasizes academics, character and Christ-centered mentoring.

The ideal candidate will plan practices, lead warm-ups, attend matches and pep rallies, assist with uniforms and parent meetings, and model Christian values while developing student-athletes.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to positive development of the Wrestling program at TCA.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with high school athletes in Wrestling preferred.
• Knowledge of Wrestling.
• Ability to build rapport with students and parents.
• Ability to motivate and improve performance of athletes.
• Must align with TCA's doctrinal, Biblical and Mission statements and Christian values.
• Willingness to mentor and disciple students in Christ.

Responsibilities

• Plan, attend and organize regular season practices.
• Plan warm-up, conditioning and drills for practice.
• Attend pep rally when the Varsity Wrestling team is recognized.
• Attend all Varsity Wrestling matches.
• Assist with ordering all Wrestling team uniforms.
• Assist with parent meetings.

TCA’s Athletic Department utilizes sports and competition to teach transformational, life-giving biblical truths to each student-athlete.
