HNTB in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Planning Analyst to gather and analyze data, create maps and exhibits, and support planning projects from concept to completion. The role emphasizes teamwork with interdisciplinary staff and producing clear reports and visuals.

You’ll need GIS and MS Office skills, data summarization, and the ability to help prepare plans and environmental documents. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.

Formación

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, geography, engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in GIS software and MS Office Suite.
• Experience compiling and summarizing data for reports and presentations.

Responsabilidades

• Researches and collects raw data, organizes, analyzes and provides review of the data for use in projects.
• Performs project analysis using technical guidance and software.
• Assists project team with maps, exhibits, presentations and reporting.
• Develops conceptual planning alternatives for urban and transportation planning projects.
• Prepares and produces plans, studies, reports, and environmental documents for transportation and infrastructure projects.
• Supports stakeholder and public participation processes.
• Maintains project records and files.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
