Internationalinsuranceprofessionals is seeking an Associate Underwriter for its Early Career Program. The role provides on-the-job training within a dedicated underwriting unit, with a one-year track designed to build industry certifications and leadership potential.

The program begins Summer 2027, with a start between January and June 2027. This hybrid role combines 3 days onsite and 2 days from home in Chicago, offering growth, mentorship, and exposure to insurance markets.

Qualifications

• Recent Bachelor’s degree in Insurance & Risk Management, Business, Liberal Arts, Communications, Psychology, Finance, or relevant degree.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Exemplary oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Marketing Arch products and services to wholesale and retail brokers.
• Underwriting and pricing products, including financial analysis and exposure analysis.
• Policy contract review and rating; claims review.
• Binding new and renewal accounts according to underwriting philosophy and strategy; servicing brokers and customers.
