Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Two years insurance experience; underwriting background preferred.
• Active Kentucky Insurance agent license or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Associate in General Insurance within 2 full years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Support brokerage operations and place policies with partner companies.
• Manage a book of new and renewal business.
• Provide underwriting information to agents when requested and answer coverage questions.
• Assist in training of agents and brokerage team members in underwriting and risk reviews.
• Contribute to brokerage profitability through effective risk selection.
