Job summary
The Building People, LLC is seeking a Building Controls Technician - Travel Team to support field projects across customer sites. This junior-level role performs existing conditions site visits, documents field conditions, and assists with installation, startup, and verification of Tridium-based building automation systems.
Responsibilities include site travel to assess controls infrastructure, document findings, support programming, graphics, schedules, and alarms under supervision, and
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or associate degree preferred.
- Experience in building automation or related technical field preferred.
- Exposure to Tridium/Niagara and BAS platforms is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites for existing conditions assessments of building controls infrastructure.
- Document field conditions with notes, photos, inventories, and reports.
- Assist with installation, startup, checkout, and commissioning of Tridium-based systems.
