Job summary

The Building People is hiring a Building Controls Technician - Travel Team to support building automation projects across customer sites. This junior role performs existing conditions site visits, documents field conditions, and assists with installation, startup, programming, and verification of Tridium-based systems.

Under the supervision of senior technicians and project leads, you will travel for project delivery, field documentation, and customer coordination while growing skills in DDC

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
Good written and verbal communication for field notes and coordination.
Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

Travel to client sites to perform existing conditions assessments of building controls infrastructure.
Document field conditions with notes, photos, inventories, and site reports.
Assist with installation, startup, and commissioning of Tridium/Niagara BAS.
