Fehr & Peers is hiring entry-level Transportation Engineer or Planner. You will build a foundation by applying standard techniques under guidance, growing your skills across transportation planning, engineering, and design projects.

You will participate in transportation analysis, planning, and design tasks, with mentors and opportunities for professional development and public outreach. This role welcomes curiosity and collaborative problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or in-progress master's degree in transportation, civil or electrical engineering, urban and regional planning, or a related field.
• EIT is preferred for engineering candidates.
• Experience or exposure to transportation planning topics such as field work, traffic operations, planning, and design.
• Familiarity with software tools listed under qualifications.

Responsabilités

• Conduct transportation analysis and prepare reports and memos.
• Prepare presentations and public outreach materials.
• Support project coordination and management activities.
• Engage with professional organizations and industry activities.
• Conduct site visits and collect field data.
• Learn and apply new tools and technologies while maintaining professional judgment.

Formation

Bachelor's degree in transportation, civil or electrical engineering, urban and regional planning

EIT certification preferred

Master's degree in progress (preferred)
