Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 0 to 1 year of relevant post-education experience.
• Strong research and analytical mindset.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Familiarity with design/build processes and civil construction regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and professional communication.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Execute the engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Support the initial project execution layout to ensure an efficient and effective project plan.
• Maintain a project budget and schedule.
• Facilitate and adhere to WSP’s QA/QC procedures.
• Develop design expertise in PLS-CADD, structure staking, foundations, and drawings.
• Travel to field, as needed.
• Uphold safety and company policies and procedures.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
