WSP is initiating an entry-level Assistant Transmission Line Mechanical Engineer position in Maitland, Florida. You will assist in all aspects of transmission line design for new lines, relocations, upgrades, and fiber optic additions, supporting a growing organization.

Join our Transmission Line Team to develop skills in PLS-CADD modeling, structure loading, foundations, and construction drawings while collaborating with utilities and construction partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 0–1 year of post-education experience recommended.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with design/build concepts and civil regulations.

Responsibilities

• Execute engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Assist in initial project execution layout for efficient plans.
• Maintain project budget and schedule.
• Follow QA/QC procedures and safety policies.
• Travel to field as needed and support construction drawings.
