Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a dedicated individual to join our engineering team in a role focused on toolmaking and tooling maintenance. You may be a recently qualified apprentice or a machinist looking to transition into press tool manufacture.

Responsibilities include maintaining and refurbishing production tooling, performing CNC and manual turning and milling, and producing new press tools. You will also manage stock levels and generate spare parts lists from controlled drawings.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in toolmaking or machining.
• Knowledge of press tools and tooling refurbishment is preferred.
• Willingness to pursue a career in toolmaking and related engineering disciplines.

Job description

My client is an established and successful engineering / manufacturing client providing precision engineering services and manufacturing pressed components to a variety of industries.

They are looking to add to their team and succession plan for the future. The client is keen to find somebody eager and keen to pursue a career in press tool manufacture.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and refurbishment of production tooling
• CNC & Manual Turning and Milling.
• Maintaining, repairing, modifying and production new press tools.
• Controlling stock levels of press tool spares.
• Generating spares lists with the relevant controlled drawings ready for manufacture.

The successful candidate will be looking for a career in toolmaking, you could be a recently qualified apprentice or perhaps a machinist looking to move into a new engineering discipline.

Working hours:

7-30am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7-30 to 1pm Friday.
