Job summary

Globaltekforcecom Inc is seeking a motivated Junior to Mid Level IT Business Analyst to join our Rockville, MD team. You will bridge business needs and IT solutions, driving process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

You will gather requirements, translate them into specs, and collaborate across SDLC with developers, PMs, and end-users. Ideal candidates have 1–4 years of BA experience, strong communication, and familiarity with JIRA/Confluence.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of IT Business Analyst experience
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile & Waterfall)
• Experience creating requirements docs, user stories, and process diagrams
• Proficient with JIRA, Confluence, Visio or similar tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication; stakeholder engagement

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into functional specs and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and end-users throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Conduct gap analysis, workflow mapping, and process improvement assessments.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by creating test cases and coordinating testing efforts.
• Maintain clear and organized project documentation, including BRDs, use cases, and user stories.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations with cross-functional teams.
