Job Summary

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented IT Business Analyst with a background in finance to support IT service delivery, business process analysis, financial data analysis, and project reporting. The resource will work with business stakeholders, project managers, finance teams, and technical teams to understand business requirements, analyze data, document processes, and support technology-driven business improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements, functional needs, and process workflows from stakeholders.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, process gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Support IT project delivery through requirements documentation, status reporting, data analysis, and stakeholder coordination.
• Prepare business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process flows, and project presentations.
• Assist in developing reports, dashboards, and performance metrics using Excel and other analytical tools.
• Support financial analysis, cost-benefit assessments, ROI calculations, and business case preparation for IT initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and business users to ensure alignment between business needs and technology solutions.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), validate business outputs, and support issue tracking and resolution.
• Support process improvement, documentation, and reporting activities across IT service delivery projects.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of financial analysis, business processes, and data interpretation.
• Ability to prepare documentation, reports, and presentations for business and technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with SAP, enterprise applications, or cloud-based business solutions is an advantage.
