• The role focuses primarily on supporting emerging growth companies and institutional investors, handling a mix of venture capital financings, M&A, and day-to-day corporate matters.
• Responsibilities include managing and supporting complex domestic and cross-border corporate, finance, real estate, tax, employment, and other transactional matters from inception through closing and post-closing activities.
• The associate will conduct legal due diligence, draft and negotiate transaction documents, structure deals, provide strategic advice on legal, regulatory, business, and operational considerations, and support deal execution and closings.
• Work involves advising on applicable regulatory requirements, governance matters, and compliance considerations affecting transactions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary legal teams.
• Requires direct and applicable experience gained from an AmLaw 100 firm.
• This is an in-office position based in Austin, and remote candidates will not be considered.
