Job summary

Garmin International is seeking a full-time Test Software Engineer 1 at its U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area.

You will build upon existing testing frameworks and methodologies to develop basic tests for Garmin products, ensuring the tests cover performance and functionality. You will work with hardware and software teams to troubleshoot issues, apply standard test procedures, and use tools such as LabWindows CVI and TestStand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• GPA generally 3.0+
• Experience in C/C++ and scripting languages
• Ability to develop tests and troubleshoot basic issues

Responsibilities

• Develops test software in C, C++, LabWindows CVI, TestStand or other languages to test Garmin products
• Troubleshoots basic testing problems and identifies root causes
• Uses test development tools to test appliances
• Follows Test Development Standards and project procedures
• May plan own technical work and document designs
