Garmin is seeking an Engineering Technician 2 at our U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. The role involves building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying development and production equipment with clear testing documentation.

You will interpret standards, perform basic troubleshooting, operate advanced lab equipment, and help ensure calibration and documentation are up to date. Garmin values teamwork and professional collaboration across engineering teams.

Formación

• Associate degree or equivalent plus 1 year experience in electronics.
• Ability to read schematics and use lab equipment safely.
• Proficiency in MS Office and documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Perform basic troubleshooting with minimal input from engineering.
• Operate lab test equipment to test and troubleshoot failures.
• Set up, run, and document qualification test plans and reports independently.
• Document test setups and results clearly and concisely.
• Mentor less experienced technicians.
