Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Test Engineer to design, develop, and implement cost-effective testing and debugging methods for new products. You will prepare test plans, lead test development, and support manufacturing with data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 1 year of Test Engineering experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Linux, Python scripting.
• Experience with ATE products and Test Interface Units.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Engineering Change Control processes.
• Familiarity with ISO 9000-2000 and TL9000 requirements.
• Experience in a Contract Manufacturing environment desired.

Responsibilities

• Write detailed test plans, procedures, and work instructions.
• Identify and communicate product software/hardware deficiencies to customers.
• Manage test development schedules and upgrades.
• Train technicians on new test stations and debug RF/Digital designs.
• Support software installation, data collection, and configuration.
• Plan facility layout and network/power requirements for testing equipment in manufacturing.
• Drive test and process improvements to close top defects.
• Interface with customers for proposals and quotes.
• Overlay pilot runs for NPI and provide feedback to customers.
