Job summary

A technology manufacturing leader seeks a Test Engineer in San Jose, California. The ideal candidate will have a BSEE with 8+ years of experience in telecommunications and a strong background in Linux and scripting languages. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing testing procedures, managing project schedules, and supporting new business development. The salary range is $105,000 to $125,000, plus comprehensive benefits including health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience as a Test Engineer in relevant fields.
• Experience in a contract manufacturing environment desired.
• Familiarity with ISO 9000-2000 and TL9000 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Writing detailed test plans, maintenance procedures, and test operational work instructions.
• Identifying and communicating product software and hardware design deficiencies to customers.
• Managing project schedule pertaining to test development and software upgrades.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Familiarity with Linux and scripting languages (Python)

Experience with ATE products and test interface units
