Carl Zeiss X-ray Microscopy, Inc. is seeking an Associate Test Engineer I to join our team and support the integration, alignment, testing, and qualification of complex opto-mechanical X-ray microscopy systems.

This entry-level role offers hands-on work with advanced imaging technology, opportunities to troubleshoot across optics, electronics, and mechanics, and a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Dublin, CA.

Competenze

Associate or technical degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, BOMs, sketches, and technical instructions.
Basic knowledge of optical, mechanical, and electrical testing equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to follow detailed test procedures while maintaining accuracy and meeting production schedules.
Basic computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Self-motivated to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Mansioni

Perform system integration, alignment, and final testing of X-ray microscopy products.
Troubleshoot optical, electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues during system testing.
Ensure systems meet required performance, quality, and customer specifications before shipment.
Use optical, electrical, and mechanical test equipment such as laser power meters, beam analyzers, digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, calipers, and position sensors.
Support engineering change processes and ensure testing documentation remains accurate and current.
