ZEISS in Dublin, CA is seeking a role that executes manual and automated tests to verify software functionality and identify defects. You will run test cases, report issues, and collaborate with developers to ensure quality before release.

Primary duties include testing electromechanical assemblies, performing acceptance QA, collecting data with Python and MATLAB, and helping improve manufacturing processes. Strong reading of drawings and teamwork are essential.

Competenze

• B.S. with 2+ years' experience in a related field.
• 8+ years as a skilled technician in a related field.
• Experience in clean room environments, high vacuum assemblies, and high precision manufacturing.
• Familiar with reading and interpreting assembly procedures and schematics.

Mansioni

• Execute manual and automated tests to verify software functionality and identify defects.
• Run test cases, report issues, and collaborate with developers to ensure quality before release.
• Perform acceptance, QA testing and rework with R&D and Manufacturing engineers.
• Collect, evaluate and log data using Python and MATLAB to optimize products and processes.
• Assist in developing methods to control and improve the manufacturing process.
• Train technicians in assembly and testing in a productive team environment.
• Align, calibrate and troubleshoot electronic and mechanical assemblies.
• Read drawings and redline procedures and communicate with teammates.
