Job summary

Scientific Research Corporation is seeking a junior Test Engineer to support integration, functional, and system testing across the NCRC program. You will help design automated tests, participate in CI/CD, and guide testing within an Agile scrum team.

The role requires a BS in a technical field, knowledge of Linux, scripting in Python or C++, and experience with virtualization (Docker, VMware). Security clearance eligibility is required for this contract position in Orlando.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and executing software system test cases and procedures.
• Experience with test scenario and script development and requirements management.
• Ability and experience communicating technical and programmatic issues.
• Experience with project logistics and controlled engineering baselines.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical ideas to senior decision makers.
• Experience developing/testing in Linux environments.
• Knowledge of virtualization and containerization (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with version control systems (SVN, Git).
• Familiarity with DevSecOps methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated integration and functional testing tools to support CI/CD.
• Establish functional test cases for program capabilities and products.
• Act as a development team member providing testing guidance in an Agile scrum environment.
• Provide testing support for resolution of program problems (PPRs).
• Support RM functional, integration, and delivery verification testing across NCRC products.
• Support baseline release verifications and validations.
