Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks an Automation Engineer to design and automate CI/CD pipelines for a national security system. You will work with Java (Spring/Spring Boot) and open-source frameworks like Selenium, Serenity, and Cucumber to enable testing, deployment, and integration across complex federal programs.

Candidate must have 3+ years of hands-on automation, CI/CD experience, and an active DoD Secret clearance. Local work in Colorado Springs, CO or Columbia, MD is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on automated test coding using Java (or development with C++/C#).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tooling.
• Proficiency in Behavior Driven Development (Cucumber).
• Strong Java experience including Spring/Spring Boot.
• Experience with open-source automation tools such as Selenium/Serenity/Cucumber.
• Experience with Functional, Integration, System, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Experience with REST/SOAP web services and APIs.
• Experience with SQL.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Local to Colorado Springs, CO or Columbia, MD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and automate CICD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Urban Code Deploy, and other tools.
• Support Agile Lifecycle Management, Build Automation, Deployment Automation, and Test Automation.
• Contribute to security analysis automation and static code analysis.
• Enable Repository Management and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Collaborate with federal program teams on large-scale national security systems.
