Job summary

Dioxycle, a Paris and California-based startup, seeks a Junior Test Bench Engineer (CDI) to manage electrolysis test benches and prototypes. You will apply mechanical, electrical and software skills to design, assemble and troubleshoot automated test benches.

You will implement regulation loops for pressure, temperature and flow, and contribute to system projects while writing documentation and collaborating with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on design and assembly of automated test benches.
• Troubleshooting and maintenance of test benches.
• Experience with sensors and actuators for measurement and control of gases and liquids.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct and improve end-to-end test benches, including the mechanical, electrical, software and process parts
• Troubleshooting and maintenance of the test benches, including instrumentation and controls
• Design of the electrolysis sub-systems using thermal and fluid calculations
• Testing and validation of the sub-systems through the implementation of test protocols
• Implementation and tuning of PID controllers
• Writing of documentation
• Benchmark suppliers and contact them
• Maintain inventory and improve the inventory system
