Job summary

The Davis Companies is seeking an Electronics Engineering Technician to support development activities for electronic and electro-mechanical systems. You will assist with design, testing, troubleshooting, fabrication, modification, and assembly of prototype hardware and specialized test equipment in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot, test, and repair at component level.
• Experience reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical docs.
• Proficient with oscilloscopes, DVMs, VOMs and signal generators.

Responsibilities

• Support design verification, testing, fabrication, and assembly of electronic systems.
• Build and troubleshoot prototype hardware using schematics and layouts.
• Perform operational testing and fault isolation to verify designs.
• Diagnose and repair assemblies at the component level.
• Collect and document test data accurately for reports.
• Use oscilloscopes, DVMs, VOMs, signal generators, and related instruments.
• Support environmental testing and development assignments.
• Maintain accurate work records and enter data into systems.
• Follow quality, safety, and procedure requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams.
