Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to create and maintain technical documents for software, hardware, and systems. The role involves collaborating with senior leadership to produce clear, graphics-enabled materials for internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities include authoring installation and configuration guides, user manuals, and code documentation, while ensuring accuracy and consistency across publications.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Two years of experience as Technical Writer in programs/contracts of similar scope.
• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline or two years of additional TW experience may substitute for the degree.
• Tasks include working with customer senior leadership to prepare and review documents with graphics for distribution.

• Creates code documentation for software; produces implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities; provides field, data definition, and data flow documentation and formats technical publications from pamphlets, technical drawings, and consultations with technical personnel and other available resources.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI W/ Polygraph.

• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Or two years of additional TW experience may be substituted for an Associate’s degree.
