Job summary

BWM Outcomes is seeking a Technical Writer to provide programmatic support for various projects. This role includes ensuring quality for all written products, interfacing with analysts to meet deadlines, and developing necessary documentation for project tracking and reporting.

The ideal candidate will possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree and two years of experience in technical writing, particularly for cybersecurity needs. Strong communication skills and familiarity with MS Office Suite are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with one year, Associate's with three, or High School Diploma with five years' experience.
• Two years of experience in preparing technical documentation for cybersecurity or intelligence.
• Strong communication skills required.

Job description

Under some supervision, the Technical Writer provides programmatic support for the project.

Responsibilities

• Provide QA for all written products from both a technical and grammatical standpoint.
• Interface with analysts and principle authors to complete products in an efficient and timely manner.
• Coordinate with customers for the development and maintenance of template/formatting standards.
• Support the development of customer briefings.
• Support technical meetings.
• Support the maintenance of KM infrastructure.
• Support the production of monthly status reports.
• Develop documentation necessary for tracking, archiving, and capturing impacts of longterm research.
• Generate other programmatic documentation, as required.
• Other duties, as required.

Qualifications

• Qualifications and Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree (+1 years’ experience), Associate’s Degree (+3 years’ experience), or High School Diploma (+5 years’ experience).
• Must have experience in technical writing, with at least two (2) years include preparing technical documentation for cybersecurity or intelligence needs.
• Excellent written and oral communication skill.
• Extensive experience using MS Office Suite.
• Database use and curation a plus.
• Must be able to integrate with fast-paced, multidisciplinary, small team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments and levels of an organization.
• Must be able to multi-task and support multiple complex elements of the project efficiently and effectively.
• DoD TS is required, with SCI is preferred.
