Job summary

Axos Bank offers a Junior Business & Technology Analyst Program, a rotational entry path across IT disciplines like Business Analysis, Data Analytics, Software Development, QA, and Product Management. You’ll support Consumer IT with reporting, analytics, data validation, and platform administration, gaining hands-on exposure to BI tools and automation while building core skills.

The role sits at our San Diego HQ with no remote option, offering onboarding into Azure DevOps, Tableau, and emerging

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information systems, CS, data analytics, or related field

Responsibilities

• Perform data pulls, analysis, and reporting activities
• Create, maintain, and enhance recurring reports
• Analyze trends and data patterns to support informed decision-making
• Complete ad hoc reporting and analytical requests
• Validate data against business rules and acceptance criteria
• Reconcile data across systems, reports, and datasets
• Identify, investigate, and document data discrepancies
• Publish quality assurance reviews of reports, dashboards, and data extracts
• Support continuous improvement of data accuracy and reliability
• Execute validation testing for new reports, dashboards, automation, and technology solutions
• Support Azure DevOps and Tableau administration
• Assist with onboarding and support of new technologies
• Perform light development and technical configuration activities
• Assist with automation and workflow improvements
• Support integrations between reporting, business management, and technology platforms
• Participate in testing and validation of system enhancements
• Assist with tool customization and technology enablement
• Support AI-enabled productivity and reporting solutions
• Research emerging technologies for practical use cases
• Contribute to innovation efforts that improve team efficiency and reporting effectiveness
• Document reporting logic, business rules, and validation processes
• Maintain knowledge articles and support materials
