Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT is seeking an Entry Level Engineer- Systems to join the Hull Planning Yard. You will support life cycle engineering across subsystems, review drawings, and perform calculations to sustain in-service submarines for the US Navy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required or expected summer 2027 graduate
• 0-5 years post-graduate engineering experience preferred
• Knowledge of design-for-manufacturability principles helpful

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance responding to emergent requests
• Review technical drawings and develop supporting engineering calculations
• Independently manage project schedules
• Travel on-site to Navy Shipyards for maintenance and modernization support
• Develop and apply solutions for fleet modernization and non-conformance evaluation
