Qualifications

• 0–2 years IT support, help desk, or sysadmin experience (internships/counts)
• Fundamentals: OS, file systems, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
• Familiarity with Windows Server, AD, and Entra ID
• Some PowerShell or scripting exposure
• Strong attention to detail and documentation habit
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage user and group access in Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory
• Maintain and document infrastructure: Windows servers, VMware vSphere/ESXi, Azure, Cisco switches, Palo Alto firewalls
• Investigate and troubleshoot monitoring/user-reported issues; escalate when needed
• Support patch management for Windows Server, VMware, and network devices; assist automation
• Help maintain SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance through policies and documentation
• Assist with audits and security assessments; explain security posture to clients
• Participate in scheduled maintenance and after onboarding, on-call rotation
