Job summary

KBR is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to support the integration, test, and evaluation of Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) systems in Beavercreek, Ohio. The role targets early-career engineers developing foundational systems engineering skills under senior guidance.

The position emphasizes laboratory and field environments, with responsibilities spanning requirements, interfaces, test planning, and data analysis to support DoD programs. U.S. DoD clearance is a potential requirement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field and 0–2 years engineering experience.
• Foundational understanding of systems engineering and integration concepts.
• Ability to work in laboratory/test environments supporting integrated systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of system requirements, interfaces, and test plans.
• Support laboratory setup, configuration, and execution of PNT experiments and evaluations.
• Support integration of hardware, software, and test infrastructure.
• Assist with hardware- and software-in-the-loop test activities.
• Collect and analyze test data to support system assessment and algorithm evaluation.
• Coordinate between software, hardware, and test teams.
• Document configurations, procedures, and results for technical reviews.
