Job summary

Watermark is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to support the DHS Science and Technology Directorate in counter-WMD efforts. You will assist with administrative, technical, and research tasks, aligning with established lifecycle policies and security requirements.

Ideal candidates have up to 3 years in systems engineering, with a BS or MA/MS in related fields. DHS Secret clearance preferred or ability to obtain, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and precise documentation.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years in systems engineering or related work.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative, programmatic, systems engineering, research analysis, test management and scientific support services.
• Follow DHS SELC policies to develop, acquire and deploy counter-WMD detection systems.
• Develop project documentation requirements and schedules with Project Manager.
• Conduct systems engineering tasks in support of CBRN systems.
