Job summary

Precise Systems seeks a Junior Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering and technical support for Naval Aviation Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and related aircraft projects. You will join an integrated government/contractor team across acquisition and sustainment lifecycles.

This in-person role offers hands-on experience in requirements management, configuration management, and IPT activities, helping develop engineering documentation and program deliverables for government customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems/Electrical/Mechanical/Aerospace/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 0–3 years of professional engineering or technical experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work in a government/contractor environment and interact professionally with government personnel and industry partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering support to PMA-207 program and IPT personnel.
• Assist with the development, review, and maintenance of systems engineering documentation, technical reports, and program deliverables.
• Support requirements development, decomposition, traceability, verification, and validation activities.
• Assist with the analysis and evaluation of aircraft systems, subsystems, and associated equipment.
• Support technical reviews, IPT meetings, engineering working groups, and program management reviews.
• Assist with configuration management and engineering change activities.
• Support the development and maintenance of technical baselines and related program documentation.
• Assist with tracking and resolving engineering actions, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Support the review of engineering data, specifications, interface documentation, and technical requirements.
• Assist with test planning, test documentation, and evaluation activities as required.
• Support Foreign Military Sales activities by coordinating technical information and engineering requirements across government, contractor, and customer organizations.
