The role emphasizes growth in security practices and system administration, including experience with ACAS/Nessus, SCAP/STIGs, and DoD standards, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Foundational experience with Windows Server and Linux systems.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware.
• Basic scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Ansible.
• Active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support the administration and troubleshooting of Windows Server, RHEL 8/9, VMware, and related infrastructure.
• Assist with OS and application patching, security updates, and vulnerability remediation.
• Develop or use basic scripts with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Ansible for routine tasks.
• Test patches and configuration changes in lab or staging environments before deployment.
• Assist with system hardening and vulnerability remediation using DoD tools.
• Support software and patch deployment using Red Hat Satellite and SCCM/MECM.
