Greenfield Engineering, a Saalex Company, is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to support a Windows server and desktop environment in Patuxent River, MD. The role includes maintaining LAN/WAN, security, and virtualization in a 200-user environment.

Applicants should have a BS/BA and CompTIA Security+ before onboarding. Interim Secret clearance required with ability to obtain Top Secret. This is a full-time, onsite position with health, retirement, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree required.
• CompTIA Security+ certification prior to onboarding.
• Active Interim Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support LAN/WAN and Internet systems for the organization.
• Monitor network availability and perform maintenance as needed.
• Monitor and test website performance to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Assist in network modeling, analysis, and coordination between hardware and software.
• May supervise network and help desk staff.
• Administer network security measures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
