Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Junior Systems Administrator to manage Windows and RedHat Linux systems in an AWS environment. This full-time, on-site role is based in Crystal City, VA, offering growth under senior guidance.

You will help with backups, user accounts, patching, and documentation while collaborating with Cloud Infrastructure and Cyber Security teams to maintain secure configurations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with Linux and AWS administration preferred.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain SSBI.

Responsibilities

• Support O&M activities for RHEL and Windows servers in AWS.
• Assist with provisioning, backup, recovery, patching, and STIG application.
• Troubleshoot system and network issues and build diagnostic skills.
• Learn and apply RBAC, auditing, ACLs, and Active Directory fundamentals.
• Contribute to secure system configurations for Linux and Windows.
• Aid in monitoring AWS infrastructure and supporting compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with Cloud Infrastructure and Cyber Security teams.
